This Week at Berger Farms: Winter 2020

We are very excited about the upcoming season here at Berger Farms. We have added a new garden. Thank you to our very kind neighbors who have allowed us to expand into their property. We are also working on our high tunnel, with plans for spring time production.

We are enjoying the results of our winter gardening experiment. Asian greens and winter carrots harvested fresh from the garden. A crisp, sweet and delicious treat in the cold dark days of winter.

Our goal is to continue to provide our wonderful customers with the staple fruits and vegetables needed in their daily lives. But,my passion is to find new and exiting types and varieties, tastes and textures, nutritious and delicious produce you will find no where else.

We are constantly learning and experimenting in an attempt to improve our soils, produce, efficiency, and service. We have plans to offer a mid week selling day to give more people easier access to our goods. We welcome your comments. Likes, dislikes and opinions.

With a little help from Mother Nature, we hope to have fresh produce to offer by Mothers Day weekend. So, our gardens are planned, our seeds are purchased and we are patiently awaiting the start of our 2020 season. We hope to see you soon.
